The Bridgewater, Massachusetts, community is mourning the loss of Travis Reynold Sellstone, who died on July 9, 2026, at the age of 26. A beloved father, son, partner, and friend, Travis leaves behind a legacy of kindness, adventure, and unforgettable memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Born on September 7, 1999, Travis spent his life deeply connected to the Bridgewater community. Growing up, he participated in baseball, soccer, and paintball, developing friendships that would last for years. His love for paintball extended beyond playing, as he also coached and competed at various levels, sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge with others while encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship.
Travis had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found happiness in camping trips and fishing adventures. Whether casting a line into a quiet lake or enjoying time around a campfire with family and friends, he embraced every opportunity to create lasting memories in nature. His adventurous spirit and love of the outdoors became defining parts of who he was.
Another passion that brought Travis immense joy was caring for animals. He proudly looked after six beloved pets, including his snake Banjo, bearded dragon Emmy, gecko Vito, parakeets Nugget and Snowball, and his energetic parrot Luna. His compassion extended even further as he began fostering reptiles, a responsibility he spoke about with great pride and excitement. His dedication to animals reflected the caring and generous nature that so many admired.
Family members remember Travis as someone who could light up any room with his larger-than-life personality. He loved making people laugh and encouraged others to look beyond appearances, often reminding friends not to judge a book by its cover because they never knew the incredible person they might meet. His warmth, authenticity, and welcoming spirit made him someone people naturally gravitated toward.
According to his family, Travis is survived by his father, Michael, his mother, Joanne, and his beloved partner, Victoria Sellstone, along with many relatives, friends, and community members who will forever cherish his memory.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Travis’s life during visitation at Chapman Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Although his life ended far too soon, Travis Sellstone’s compassion, adventurous spirit, love for family, devotion to his animals, and ability to bring people together will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever remain a treasured part of the Bridgewater community.
